Overview
This warranty policy explains your rights when you purchase goods from Freedom box, and what to do if an item you received turns out to be faulty. It applies alongside our other store policies and does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
Statutory warranty
All goods sold by Freedom box are covered by the statutory warranty for defects. This means that if an item you receive is faulty, does not match its description, or is otherwise not fit for its intended purpose, you are entitled to a remedy.
Depending on the circumstances and where the law allows, this remedy may consist of:
- Repair of the defective item; or
- Replacement of the item with a conforming one; or
- Where repair or replacement is not possible or appropriate, a price reduction or a refund.
The statutory warranty applies regardless of any additional warranty offered by a manufacturer, and it cannot be excluded or reduced by us.
Manufacturer warranty
Some products may also carry an additional warranty provided directly by the manufacturer. Where this is the case, the manufacturer's own terms and conditions apply to that warranty. Any manufacturer warranty is offered in addition to, and does not replace, limit, or otherwise affect, your statutory rights described above.
If you wish to make a claim under a manufacturer warranty, please contact us first so we can advise you on the correct process, as this may involve the manufacturer directly.
Reporting a fault
If you believe a product you purchased from us is defective, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@fredombox.shop. To help us assess and resolve your claim as efficiently as possible, please include the following in your message:
- Your order number;
- A clear description of the fault or defect;
- Photos of the issue, where possible; and
- Any other details that may help us understand the problem.
Once we receive your report, we will review the information provided and get back to you with the next steps to resolve the matter promptly.
